Description
Here is a beautiful set of AKG D190E microphones from the mid 70’s. These are like a more flat EQ’d version of a 57 (without the ~5k bump). They are lightweight but rugged, and were very popular workhorse mics throughout the mid 70’s.
Known as a versatile workhorse dynamic mic, they would be great for a stereo pair on leslies, piano, or a variety of acoustic sources. These are a popular snare mic as well, they’d work well all over a drum kit. Some folks have raved using them as internal kick mics too.
Both microphones have been cleaned internally and internal foam has been replaced. Includes new clips and handmade bag.
Also available individually, please inquire by email if you’d like to split up the pair.
