Description
The Sennheiser MD416 is the holy grail of live vocal microphones. Featuring a Sennheiser 405 capsule (as with the famous MD409), these are just wonderful dynamic mics. All electronics are shock-mounted inside of the mic’s housing, virtually eliminating holding noise.
While stand mounted, it’s also worth mentioning that this is pretty (pretty pretty) similar guts to a 409 in a more robust, similarly beautiful housing. The MD416-U is the XLR/cannon connector version of the MD416-N, which employs a small tuchel connector. Convenient!
This particular mic has some extra engraving around the beautiful “Made In Germany” marking, otherwise it’s in quite nice cosmetic shape. Ships with a handmade padded pouch.
