Amazing AKG D222 two-way Dynamic Microphones. These mics have two capsules and a crossover network, virtually eliminating proximity. They’ve been called “the dynamic mic that thinks it’s a condenser”. They have full frequency range, and since the lower capsule points towards the XLR jack of the mic, they pick up in a very natural “ear-like” fashion.
These could be excellent for stereo miking in a live or studio setting, on sources like percussion rigs, drum overheads, pianos, or more.
