These are ultra high quality dynamic mics, incredibly they have a faaaast frequency response up to 18k. Because of the speedy transient air response, people describe these as condenser-like dynamics. All the benefits of high SPL ability, all of the benefits of speedy response, the MB215’s are absolutely indispensable studio tools.
Because of their really wide frequency response (50-18k hz), they are really well suited for lots of acoustic tasks. Acoustic guitar, String sections, Pianos, Drums (stereo overheads with these would be excellent!), or vocals. With this pair you get a huge advantage in a studio. You could use these as a pair for large vocal ensemble, acoustic ensemble, all kinds of sources that need stereo width, dynamic sound but still with a REALLY full frequency range.
